Documentation for X3D Studios in India: generate a 3D model or upload your own, get a rupee quote from a real slice, and have it printed and delivered in India.
X3D Studios turns an idea into a physical part. You describe a model or upload one you already have, we quote it in rupees from a real slice rather than a guess, and our print partner in India prints it and delivers it across India. These docs cover every step of that.
The numbers on these pages are read out of the code that runs the site. Where something is a limit, it says so; where a step is a person rather than an automation, it says that too.
Three ways in#
Pick the one that matches what you are doing. You can upload a file and see its rupee price without an account, and send a request without one. Generating a model needs an account.
Generate a model from text or an image, review its printability, then request a print of it or download it.
Upload an STL or 3MF, see the rupee price from a real slice, and request the print.
Ready made designs, printed to order in India and requested from the product page.
What we print in#
Five materials, one all in rate each. The rate covers the plastic and machine time together, so a 21g PLA part at standard quality costs 21 x ₹8 = ₹168 before delivery. Full detail is on the materials page.

What you can upload#
Two kinds of file can be printed. A mesh is something we slice for you. A sliced file is one you already prepared in Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer, and its own weight and time numbers become the quote.

What a print costs#
Price is weight times the all in rate for the material and quality, and nothing else for a normal single colour part. Billable weight rounds up to the whole gram, the same way postage does, so a quote agrees with the whole gram figure Bambu Studio shows. There is no minimum order and no minimum per part in India.
- Bulk: 5% off from 5 pieces, 10% off from 10 pieces of the same file.
- Delivery: ₹79 across India, free on orders from ₹999. Printing takes 1 to 3 business days, then delivery takes 3 to 7 days.
- Priority print: 10% of the items, at least ₹200, if you want it printed in 1 to 2 business days instead of 1 to 3 business days. Normal print is included.
- Support removal: ₹200, if you want the supports taken off before it is delivered.
- Multi colour prints add to the rate per gram, and colour change machine time is ₹30 an hour when it applies. Nothing else adds an hourly line.

What does X3D Studios do in India?
Two things. It generates 3D models from a text prompt or a photo, and it has physical parts printed in India by our print partner and delivered across India. Either half works on its own: bring your own STL and skip generation, or generate a model, download it and print it yourself.
How much does 3D printing cost in India at X3D Studios?
One all in rate per gram covers the plastic and machine time: PLA and PETG ₹8 a gram, ABS and ASA ₹10 a gram, TPU ₹12 a gram. Premium 0.1mm layers cost 1.75 times the rate. Billable weight rounds up to the whole gram, there is no minimum order, and delivery is ₹79, free on orders from ₹999.
What files can I upload for printing?
STL meshes up to 100MB, 3MF models and Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer projects up to 40MB, and plates you sliced yourself, exported as .gcode.3mf, up to 40MB. A bare .gcode, a GLB and an OBJ are not accepted on the print upload, though the free printability check does read GLB and OBJ.
How do I order a print in India?
Upload your file at /in/print and see its price in rupees. Press Request this print, fill in a short form with your name, email, city and PIN code, and send it. Our team replies by email with the final price and how to pay. Nothing is charged when you send the request.
