Quickstart

The shortest path from nothing to a printed part in India: upload a file or generate one, see the rupee price, send a request, and have it printed and delivered.

This page gets you from nothing to a part delivered to you in India. There are two routes into the same pipeline: upload a file you already have, or generate one from a prompt. Both end at the same request, priced in rupees, printed by our print partner in India.

You do not need an account to request a print
Uploading a file, seeing its rupee price and sending a request need nothing. Generating a model needs a signed in account. There is no checkout or cart in India yet: you send a request, and our team replies by email with the final price and how to pay.

Route A: print a file you already have#

Use this if you have an STL, a 3MF, or a file you have already sliced yourself in Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer.

  1. 1
    Open /in/print

You can upload and see the price in rupees without signing in.

  2. 2
    Drop the file in

STL up to 100MB, .3mf up to 40MB. A GLB is not accepted; export it as STL or 3MF. A bare .gcode is not accepted; export the plate as .gcode.3mf. A 3MF can be a sliced plate, a model, or a Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer project, which can print in its own colours. The browser sends the bytes straight to storage and the server reads them back to check the mesh: can we read a printable mesh out of it at all, what does it measure, does it fit the build plate. A file that fails here is rejected now rather than partway through a print. Watertightness is measured and reported on a generated model, but the print upload does not check it: a mesh with holes in it is accepted, so check yours before ordering.

  3. 3
    Pick material, colour and quality

PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA or Flexible TPU: PLA and PETG ₹8 a gram, ABS and ASA ₹10, TPU ₹12. Standard is 0.2mm layers; Premium is 0.1mm and costs 1.75 times the per gram rate. In India a colour costs the same as a stock colour. Custom filament is not offered in India yet. You can also set scale, infill and a note to the order. A sliced file skips all of this: its own numbers become the quote.

  4. 4
Choose the print speed and extras

Normal print is included and is printed in 1 to 3 business days. Priority print (10% of the items, at least ₹200) is printed in 1 to 2 business days. Support removal is ₹200 if you want the supports taken off. Delivery is ₹79, free on orders from ₹999.

  5. 5
    Request this print

Press Request this print and fill in the short form: your name, email, phone (optional), city, six digit PIN code and any notes. Send it. The price in the request is worked out again on the server from the weight and your choices, never taken from the browser. Nothing is charged when you send it.

If Request this print is greyed out for a moment
The button waits while the slicer weighs your model, usually 10 to 60 seconds. We price by weight, and a volume estimate undercounts thin parts badly, so the page would rather wait than show you the wrong number.

Route B: generate the model first#

Use this if you do not have a file. A new account starts with 5 generation credits; a fast draft costs 1.

  1. 1
Open /in/design and describe the part

Type what you want, up to 500 characters. You can also start from a photo, or from two to four photos of the same object taken from different angles. Fast Draft is the default and the cheapest; Hi-Fi costs more credits and takes longer.

  2. 2
Wait for the model and its review

Generation runs in the background, and the page checks until the model is ready. When it lands you get the mesh plus a printability review: whether it is watertight, its dimensions, an estimated wall thickness, its worst overhang, and whether we repaired it automatically.

  3. 3
Read the verdict before you order

The review is geometry, not engineering. It reports print ready, needs supports, auto repaired, or needs redesign. Estimated wall thickness is derived from the model's smallest overall dimension, not measured wall by wall, so treat it as a flag rather than a specification.

  4. 4
Request a print, or take the file

Request this print in the studio opens the same short form as /in/print, priced in rupees from the model's weight. If you would rather print it yourself, download it as STL, OBJ or 3MF; the export is scaled so the largest dimension is 100mm.

What happens after you send a request#

A request is not a payment. It reaches our team with your file, your choices and the rupee price worked out on the server.

  1. Our team checks your file and weighs it again.
  2. We reply by email with the final price and how to pay.
  3. Once it is paid for, our print partner in India prints it: 1 to 3 business days on Normal print, 1 to 2 business days on Priority print.
  4. It is delivered to the address you give us in 3 to 7 days.

How long it takes#

Two steps, counted separately. Printing: Normal print is included and is printed in 1 to 3 business days; Priority print (10% of the items, at least ₹200) is printed in 1 to 2 business days. Delivery: 3 to 7 days after printing. There is one delivery service in India, at ₹79 and free on orders from ₹999. Express, international delivery and pickup are not offered in India.

Questions

Do I need an account to order a 3D print in India?

No. Anyone can upload a model at /in/print, see its price in rupees and send a request with Request this print. Generating a model in the studio needs an account.

How long does a 3D print take to reach me in India?

Two steps, one after the other. Normal print is printed in 1 to 3 business days, and Priority print (10% of the items, at least ₹200) in 1 to 2 business days. Then delivery takes 3 to 7 days.

How do I pay for a 3D print in India?

There is no checkout in India yet. You send a request, and our team replies by email with the final price and how to pay. Nothing is charged when you send the request.

Why is the Request this print button greyed out?

Because we price by weight and the slicer has not finished measuring your model. It usually takes 10 to 60 seconds. The button opens once the weight is in.
