About X3D Studios
X3D Studios is a 3D printing service and AI 3D model generator in Austin, Texas. You upload a model, or describe one and let our AI generate it, and we print it on our own Bambu Lab printers and ship it to you.

- Custom 3D printing from your file (/print), an AI 3D model generator that turns a prompt or a photo into a printable model (/design), a print API and MCP server for software and AI agents (/docs/api), and a small store of desk clocks and lamps.

- Austin, Texas, USA. One farm, printers we own and run ourselves; nothing is subcontracted to another farm.
- Printers
- Bambu Lab H2S and P2S, each with a 4-tray AMS. The largest plate is 340×320×340mm. How many are running and the lead time right now are published live on /farm.
- Process
- FDM (filament) printing only. We do not offer resin (SLA), powder (SLS/MJF), metal or CNC.
- Materials and rates
- PLA: $0.12 per gram, all-in
- PETG: $0.12 per gram, all-in
- ABS: $0.12 per gram, all-in
- ASA: $0.14 per gram, all-in
- Flexible TPU: $0.25 per gram, all-in
Priced by the grams a real slice measures, with a $1.00 minimum per part. Premium · 0.1mm costs 1.75x the rate. A print in 5 or more colours adds $25.00 once per order line for the second AMS unit.
- Colours
- 12 stock colours (White, Black, Red, Cyan, Sakura Pink, Sunny Orange, Green, Yellow, Mint Green, Lavender, Silver, Brown). Any other colour is $0.20/g (Flexible TPU keeps its own $0.25/g), because we buy the spool in for that order.
- Files we print
- STL, GLB or 3MF: a model, a Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer project (printed in its own colours), or a plate you sliced yourself as .gcode.3mf. OBJ is not accepted for printing; convert it to STL first. You can see a price without an account.
- Print speed
- Normal print ships in 4–5 business days. Priority print ($5, or 10% of the items when that is more) ships in 1–2.

- US standard $7.00 (4–6 business days in transit, free over $49.50) or express $15.00 (2–3 business days). International $30.00 flat to 23 countries.

Printed to order
Nothing is printed until somebody orders it, so there is no overstock waiting to be thrown away.
Priced from a real slice
On the website, what you pay comes from slicing your file with the same Bambu Lab printer and filament presets the farm prints with, so the grams you pay for are the grams the printer uses. /print shows an estimate while that slice runs, and checkout charges only the measured figure.
Checked before we print
Generated models get a server-side printability review before they can be ordered, and every sliced plate is checked for unsafe commands and temperatures before it reaches a printer.
Looked at before it ships
The person who takes a part off the plate looks it over before it is packed. A print that comes out wrong is printed again, not shipped.
