How does the AI 3D model generator work?+
Type a text prompt and X3D generates a 3D model in about 60 seconds. Every model passes a server-side printability review (watertight mesh, wall thickness, overhangs) and can be exported as STL, OBJ, or 3MF, or sent straight to our print farm.
Can I order a custom 3D print from my own file?+
Yes. Upload an STL, GLB, 3MF, or already-sliced .gcode/.gcode.3mf file at /print, choose material (PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, or TPU) and color, and get instant size-based pricing. Orders ship in 1–2 days from Texas.
Do you have a 3D printing API?+
Yes. X3D offers a serverless print API — send a file plus a shipping address to our REST endpoint (or from AI agents via the API), pay automatically with a card on file, and we print and ship the order. Track status by order code. It's the print-and-ship API for developers and AI agents.
What materials and print quality do you offer?+
We print in PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, and flexible TPU on Bambu Lab printers, with selectable layer heights from 0.08mm (fine) to 0.28mm (draft) on a 0.4mm nozzle. Build volume is up to 340×320×340mm.
Where do you ship from and how much is shipping?+
We print and ship from Austin, Texas. US shipping is a flat $7 (free over $50); international is a flat $30 (free over $500). Most orders ship within 1–2 days.
